Chapter 17 - Manami's Plan [Aisa POV]

“Good for you.”

After Kouki left, Manami looked happy all the time.

“Ehehe… yeah. But is it truly good?”

I’m sure Manami must have been really frustrated. As I had seen her work hard a lot, I couldn’t see her not being rewarded like this.

I think Kouki might’ve felt this way too.

“You deserve to be rewarded for your hard work.”

“But, you know, when Kouki-nii saw me crying, he was very encouraging and comforting… He did a lot for me…”

“A lot of what…?”

Kouki, what are you doing with your tutoring time…?

“He patted me on the head like he always does, and today he held me.”

“Held you?”

“Nnn… he held me from behind.”

“Held from behind?”

Manami is also ecstatic and basking in the afterglow. It’s not fair…

“I thought it was okay…”

“Yeah… it might’ve been a little sweet by Kouki, but it’s okay this time. That’s how hard Manami worked.”

“Ehehe. I got a compliment from my big sister!”

I’m a little jealous, but I think I have no choice this time.

I envy her.

“So, since Onee-chan asked him to carry your bags, where are you two gonna go?”

“Well… I thought I’d just aimlessly wander around.”

“Aimlessly wander around… is that fine with you?”

Fine with me? I don’t know what she’s talking about.

“I think you two talked a lot today, but when you two are alone, won’t you get nervous and become cold and distant again?”

I can’t deny it. That’s right. My baggage handler… was ambiguous with his wording, but this is definitely a date… I’m getting nervous now thinking about it.

“If you go on a date in your current state, you’ll probably end up coming home without accomplishing much or having any fun…”

Manami says with some dismay, but her prediction is probably correct.

But if I’m going out, I want to have fun with Kouki. How can I make that happen…?

“What if we set a goal first? We can all go out together again, right?”

“That’d…be nice. Sure.”

“Fufu. Then I have a plan for you!”

“Plan?”

Manami’s plans have proven to be dependable. I’m going to listen carefully.
