Zhang Bai Ren, a 21st-century Daoist disciple, travels back in time to the Sui and Tang dynasties after activating a先天剑胎 (xiantian sword embryo). He debates Daoism with Zhongli Quan and duels with Lü Dongbin. He overpowers Xuanzang and repels Bodhidharma with a single sword. He stands atop the Forbidden City, holding a Zhuxian Formation diagram, and asks the world, "Who dares to be my enemy? Can you achieve immortality?"
