Kato Tarou, an unremarkable salaryman (middle-aged, single), wakes up in a world known as 'Great Desert,' a world filled with deserts. Summoned as a 'Reformer' to improve the world, Tarou is dismissed as a non-combatant by the king due to his unimpressive appearance. He is then exiled to another city. The sandstream ship carrying Tarou is attacked by a horde of sand beasts, leading to a total annihilation, which was a plot by the king to summon a new Reformer. However, Tarou's fortunes change when he discovers an oasis. With the help of rare skills like 'Online Shopping' and encounters with beautiful girls (?), he lives a life of freedom in the desert.
