One day, the Earth’s axis tilted slightly, causing drastic climate changes that resulted in the submergence of continents and islands while new land emerged. The surviving Japanese people settled on the newly formed islands created by undersea uplifts, where powerful feudal lords vied for supremacy in a manner reminiscent of the Sengoku (warring states) period. The protagonist, Minazuki, was born as the son of a feudal lord and began his journey to become the supreme ruler.
